This Privacy Policy describes how Sazz ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with our mobile and web music applications. We do not store any personal data.
For the purposes of this policy, "personal data" means any information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person (for example: name, email address, phone number, persistent identifiers tied to you).
We do not collect or store personal data. The app is architected so that personally identifying information is not required to use the primary features.
Technical & transient data: To run the app and provide a smooth user experience we may temporarily process non-personal, technical information locally on the device (for example: temporary cache of audio buffers, playback position stored locally). This data is stored only on the user's device and is not uploaded to our servers.
The app may use local device storage (on-device files, local database, or browser storage) for settings, playlists you create locally, or buffering. This data remains on your device unless you explicitly export or share it. We do not transmit these local files to our servers or third parties.
For web versions, we may use strictly necessary cookies to keep the web app functioning (for example session cookies while you are actively using the site). We do not use persistent tracking cookies that store personal information. Any other optional cookies or client-side storage will be disclosed and require your consent.
If analytics or crash-reporting tools are used to improve the app, we will configure them to avoid collecting personal identifiers whenever possible. Collected information, if any, will be aggregated and non-identifying (for example app version, device model, anonymous crash stack traces). We will not link analytics data to your identity.
Because we do not store personal data, there is no personal-data retention period. Local non-personal data stored on your device (such as local playlists or cached audio) remains on your device until you remove it or uninstall the app.
We take reasonable steps to protect local data on the device and any transmissions between your device and services the app uses. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure — please use device-level security (screen lock, encrypted backups) to protect your local content.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or announced by other reasonable means.
